NGC 6960

Geoff Dryland

Had another tweek at the scope & took another test image of NGC 6960 (following my earlier (previous) image 7/8/2015). Star shape is a little better but still has a slight oval. Found out that this is probably tracking. (I've orientated the image through 90 degrees so N/S in the image is in fact E/W ...........doh!!).

This image is 9x6minutes in Ha.

From my site, I don't have a view of Polaris due to the tree next door, so I use a software program to align the mount. Have to give that a tweek as well I think.
