Dehumidifers

Here’s more info about my dehumidifier. It might be worth passing on to the mailing list:-

It’s a dessicant wheel dehumidifier (see below), as opposed to a thermoelectric one like the the cheap ones you can buy in Argos etc.

The one I have is a DDR1 Classic (not the DDR 1 Simple)

If you scroll down the appliances direct page you’ll see the operating temperature range. The desiccant  type will work down to 1 degree C while the thermoelectric (peltier) type are useless below about 15 deg C

p.s. the water I get out of mine is great for using in the iron
